Friday 21st October
I hope you have a really lovely holiday. Below are a few little things I would like you to complete over the holidays. They will be due in for Thursday 3rd November.
Spellings- Please review all the spellings we have learnt this half term. We need to particularly work on the ones we haven’t got correct in our spelling tests. You need to be aiming for at least 7/10 on the tests we do in class. We will have another go after half term.
Maths- I would like you to have a go at Mrs Bowles Times Table challenge. I have given you several copies so you can practice and try and beat your best.
English- I would like you to complete a book review on any book or author. It will be very similar to the book reviews we did for Roald Dahl’s birthday, when we reviewed our favourite book of his. Remember to include; Name of book and author, favourite part, description of the characters, a rating, what type of book is it (genre, fiction, non-fiction) and who else do you think would enjoy this book. You can either record it on the paper I have given you or you could write it on the computer and email to me at:

I am looking for the best book reviews to go on our class blog.

Friday 14th October

I am very sorry we have not had a blog for the last few weeks. This has been due to technical problems with my computer. I will now add add some pictures from the last few weeks.

This week in school we have been continuing to work on the 'Food for Thought' project. We produced posters in our English lessons to explain what we have done so far. Some of us presented them to our parents in our Harvest church service this Friday.

We have been also been enjoying our music lessons as well as topic 'Greeks,' our Big Writes and our science lessons.

Maths- This week you have a selection of mental maths questions to complete.
