Monday 3rd March-Friday 10th March

Year 5 completed a series of problem solving questions this Friday during their Maths lesson, whilst Year 6 had a quiz to help them revise all the recent maths they have covered.

This week we presented to the class our research on the different areas of America we have been learning about. Each group studied a different area (as America is so big) and then we taught each other what we had learnt. We all had a power point, posters and a 3D landmark to show. We then all took it in turns to speak about our findings.

Next week we are going to learn about the American Pop Artist, Andy Warhol.

Well done for another week of super work!

This week we have had a week of illness in the school, but Class 4 have worked hard to catch up when they have missed work and carried on when they have not felt 100%. Well done and hopefully next week everyone will be feeling much better. Below are some pictures of our Maths lessons during the week. We had fun building cubes and cuboids with lego and then finding the volume of the shapes we have made.
