Monday 25th February-Friday 1st March

Welcome back after half term. Hopefully everyone had a lovely holiday.

Class 4 have started Spring 2 term with some fantastic work. They have debated whether graffiti is art or vandalism, they have written it as a balanced argument and they have produced their own graffiti art. Next week, we will put photos up of our finished pieces of work. Mrs Jenkins, Mrs Milne and Mrs Bowles have been really impressed with the standard of work coming from Class 4. Everyone got a Headteachers Award this week. A huge well done!

Mrs Jenkins has given all children a new set of Home Learning choices for this half term.

Friday 1st March
Spellings: This week we have been learning the soft c rule. The soft c sounds like an  s when we say it but actually it is spelt as a c. The c is always followed by an e, i or y.
1.     Celebrated
2.    Balanced
3.    Medicine
4.    Emergency
5.    Decided

Reading: Our reading challenge has begun again. Who will be our winners at the end of this half term? The winners will spend some time in their class book corner with tea and cakes to celebrate their reading achievements.

A huge well done to our Cross Country runners, we look forward to hearing how you get on next week. Another well done to our Golden Book winners as well. Lots of celebrations and achievements this week!

Next week: World Book Day on Thursday 7th March. Come to school in your pyjama's or just your slippers. Bring in your favourite book as well to share with the class.

Friday 8th March-Final of Cross Country at Bramfield. Starts at 1:30pm. See Mr Balls for details.
