We had a wonderful week with our river trip, harvest festival as well as some cooking in Design Technology, football in P.E and sketching our grandparents.

Able and ible suffix

We wrote a list of words with the suffix ible and able. We discussed the best way to know which suffix to use is if the root word (whole word is before) then it is able.

 For example: understandable = understand + able, enjoyable = enjoy + able, comfortable = comfort + able, dependable = depend +able.

Just remember, this is not always the case!
