This week we have been learning about using hyphens between a prefix and root word. Sometimes we know to use a hyphen because the end of the prefix and the beginning of the root word are the same letter. Remember, with spelling, there are always exceptions.

Reading

This week we have been looking at some World War 1 poetry. We studied in depth, ‘Flanders Field.’ We have also started to read our new class book ‘Shackleton’s Journey.’
